Purpose To encourage research that promotes a better understanding of all aspects of the institution of slavery from the earliest times to the present.
Focus History; Social sciences.
Qualifications Applicants must have received the Ph.D. prior to the beginning of their appointment; both established and younger scholars are invited to apply.
Criteria Highest priority is given to applications that are fully complete by deadline.
Funds $18,000
Duration Annual.
To Apply Applicants must complete the online application and include a cover letter; curriculum vitae (CV); two letters of recommendation; three to a five-page statement regarding intended research project (research statement).
Deadline April 1.
