Qualifications Applicants must be a students in an accredited doctoral dissertation program; can be from any academic discipline; must have their dissertation proposal approved by their dissertation committee prior to application to The Melissa Institute.
Criteria Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.
Funds $3,500
Duration Annual.
Number of Awards Up to 3.
To Apply Applicants must be submit electronic basis: include title of the proposed thesis; brief 300 - 500 word abstract of proposed study; hypotheses to be tested and research design; description of subjects - number and how selected; list of proposed measures; proposed data analyses; budget justification (not counted as part of the abstract word count); proposed timeline for completion; a curriculum vitae, including any scientific publications and presentations with a brief description of your career plan; a letter of recommendation from your dissertation advisor; attach Dissertation Flyer (below) to your packet.
