Purpose To support LGBTQ+ students pursuing a career in human services, health sciences, or visual arts.
Focus Health sciences; Human relations; Visual arts.
Qualifications Applicants must be LGBTQ+ students or allies pursuing a career in human services, health sciences, or visual arts; must be residents of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington (applicants are considered residents of one of these states if they currently live within that state or have lived within that state for at least one year at any time within the last five years).
Criteria Priority given to LGBTQ+ students who need it most, for example, those who have faced family rejection and/or systemic barriers to educational access or have demonstrated commitment to advancing justice and the well-being of their communities.
Duration Annual.
Number of Awards 1.
To Apply Applicant must submit three essays, a resume, and academic transcripts.
Deadline January 6.
