Purpose To provide educational assistance to those minority high school seniors in Ohio intending to pursue a newspaper journalism career.
Focus Advertising; Communications; Journalism; Marketing and distribution.
Qualifications Applicants must be minority (African American, Hispanic, Asian American, or American Indian) seniors who are graduating from Ohio high schools; must be pursuing journalism, advertising, marketing, or communications at an accredited college or university within the United States; must have a minimum 2.5 GPA.
Funds $1,500
Duration Annual.
To Apply Applicant must submit a completed application form (available on the website), official transcript, 500-750 word autobiography, and two letters of recommendation.
Deadline March 31.
