Purpose To provide financial support to students who have the license for post-secondary education.
Focus Radio and television.
Qualifications Applicants must be residence and college/university attendance within 175 miles of YCCC center which is in Erving, MA. MA, RI, CT and Long Island, NY, most of VT and NH, portions of ME, eastern NY and northeastern sections of PA and NJ; must be 22 years or younger as of June 1 of the year of the grant; All applicants must be active, FCC-licensed amateur radio operators; active foreign amateur radio operators are eligible for The ARDC Scholarships.
Criteria Selection will be based on Committee criteria.
Funds $1,200
Duration Annual.
Number of Awards 1.
To Apply Applicants must be submit a completed scholarship application form; transcripts and additional required documents must be submitted WITH the application and not emailed separately; a number of scholarships require additional documents, such as a letter of recommendation from a sitting Officer of an ARRL-affiliated club.
