Purpose To provide for advanced PhD students completing dissertation projects, the program exposes pre-doctoral fellows to other emerging scholars from Universities across the nation, offering the space, guidance, and intellectual exchange necessary to complete o

Qualifications Applicants must be in residence at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia for the duration of the award period.
Criteria Selection will be based on committee criteria.
Funds $24,000
Duration Annual; up to 2 years.

To Apply Applicants must submit C.V/Resume; cover Letter; writing sample 1; submit 1 attachment contains(for proper formatting, please refer to the sample image in "formatting" section below); project title; abstract or short-description of project (should not exceed 50 words); project description (should not exceed 7 double-spaced pages or 1,750 words); writing sample 2; bibliography (should not exceed 4 double-spaced pages); the working bibliography must be attached through the Workday application under "Writing Sample 2"; 3 letters of recommendation (signed originals only) by persons qualified to evaluate the proposals for which support is being sought.
