Purpose To assist students pursuing careers in the areas of air and water pollution control and hazardous waste management, such as transportation control measures, acidic deposition, indoor air quality, new or improved control technology, and physical or chemical characterization of pollutants.
Focus Air pollution; Environmental law; Waste management.
Qualifications Applicants must be pursuing a graduate-level course of study and research leading to a career related to air or water quality, waste management, pollution prevention, environmental policy/compliance/law, or sustainability; must be attending a full-time graduate school program at a university.
Criteria Selection will be based Awards Committee.

To Apply Applications must be submit online; should contain information regarding your plan of study; statement of professional goals: should discuss your planned graduate study, relating the significance and relation between; coursework and research; professional objective(s); limit to a maximum of two single spaced typed pages; transcripts: should contain transcripts for baccalaureate and higher degree(s); photocopies are acceptable; verification of graduate school acceptance: should contain acceptable documentation that you will be attending a qualifying graduate program during the 2022-2023 academic year; professional/non-professional work experience: this should contain a resume of part-time and full-time work experience including dates of employment, employer, and responsibilities; must be choose to include information with respect to community participation, professional registration/certification status, and scholarships/fellowships received; limit to a maximum of two single spaced typed pages; recommendations: letters of recommendation are required for two references; they may be enclosed with the application or sent separately by the reference.
