Purpose To promote planning to pursue a Master’s Degree in transportation engineering.
Focus Transportation.
Qualifications Applicants must be will have earned a Bachelor’s Degree by December 31, 2022; already admitted or qualified for unconditional admission to a graduate study; program at one of the universities within the Texas District; already enrolled or eligible to begin graduate study in transportation on a full-time; doctoral students are not eligible to apply; If a candidate has previously received a Texas District Fellowship, he or she is not eligible to reapply.
Criteria Selection will be based on the committee criteria.
Funds $1,000
Duration Annual.
Number of Awards Up to 2.
To Apply Applications for these fellowships must include all of the following: a completed application; an essay, written by the candidate, explaining his or her reasons for pursuing a graduate degree in transportation and outlining career objectives. The essay should be no longer than 2 single-spaced typewritten pages; a copy of the candidate’s resume, indicating academic and professional experience, awards, etc.; a list of proposed courses for each prospective university listed on the application form; three completed reference forms from the references named on the application; an official transcript from each university the candidate has attended or is currently attending; must be submitted electronically.
