Applicants must be qualify and meet the approval of the Board of Directors; applicant must utilize, publish, and acknowledge which member the fossils came from along with acknowledging the AAPS as a grant provider; Further acquisitions of fossils for continued research may also be an acceptable use; applicant does not need to be a member of the Association of Applied Paleontological Sciences. |

| To Apply |
Applicants must be submit a letter of application explaining the focus of their research, which AAPS member they collected with or acquired the fossils from, and what they plan on using the money for; must also submit a copy of their resume, publication, and a copy of their paper; a letter of recommendation from one or more of your professors or advisors; a current Curriculum Vitae or Collage Transcript; a current photograph of the Applicant, which can be emailed, but it must be at least 400 pixels X 600 pixels and 72 dpi. |
