Purpose To support meritorious scholarship by students (as evidenced by the paper the student will present) and to enable them to present their research at the Annual Meeting.
Focus Criminal justice; Law.
Qualifications Applicants a student need not have the recommendation of a faculty member in order to be considered; must one at the Master’s level and another at the Ph.D. level).
Criteria Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.
Funds $600
Duration Annual.
Number of Awards 2.
To Apply Applicants must be submit online; nominations shall include: a letter of nomination including a statement that the paper is authored or co-authored by students. (Papers cannot be co-authored with a facultymember.); one electronic copy of the paper; proof of the student's current enrollment; evidence that the student's paper has been accepted for presentation at the annual meeting; documentary evidence that the student will be attending the Annual Meeting and present the paper cited above (photocopy of airline tickets, and/or hotel reservations); other letters of support of the nomination may be submitted.
