Purpose To promote the art and science of energy efficiency by supporting students pursuing an education related to energy efficiency.
Focus Energy-related areas.
Qualifications Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED: be currently enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution in Iowa, with at least one full semester completed and one full semester remaining; pursuing a degree that supports the mission of IAEE; committed to pursuing a career in the energy efficiency industry; and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
Criteria Selection is based on demonstrated interest in energy efficiency, appropriateness of degree, and letters of recommendation.
Funds $1,000
Duration Annual.
Number of Awards Varies.
To Apply Applicant must submit the following documents: completed application (Word or PDF version); letters of recommendation (no more than five), focusing on applicant's interest, knowledge, and desire to pursue energy efficiency; one letter must be from the applicants educational institution; and recent copy of transcript.
