Purpose To recognize excellence in scholarship and to encourage individuals with leadership potential to seek employment in a Seventh-day Adventist library.
Focus General studies/Field of study not specified; Library and archival sciences.
Qualifications Applicants must be a Seventh‐day Adventist in good standing; must be accepted to a graduate library and information science program in an American Library Association (ALA) accredited program, or, if attending outside the United States or Canada, the program must be recognized by the International Federation of Library Associations.
Criteria Selection will be based on committee.
Duration Annual.
Number of Awards 1 or 2.
To Apply Applicants must be submit an online application form including GPA and GRE scores, if available; official college transcripts; include library school transcripts, if currently enrolled; copy of the official letter of acceptance from an accredited library school; personal statement in an essay of 600 words; curriculum vitae; three letters of reference (one should be a character reference from your Seventh‐day Adventist pastor).
