Get ready for interviews

Practice your answers to common interview questions and prepare for video interviews.

• Review the list of Common interview questions and write out your answers to 10 or more of them. Use stories from your past experience.
• Read through Interview tips and Virtual interview tips. Make sure you have a reliable space and technology for video interviews. Conduct a practice session if time allows.
• To prepare for a job interview, list requirements from the job posting, then next to them write down your qualifications. Plan how to address any gaps, including how you can learn new skills.
• On your worksheet: Write out hard-to answer interview questions, such as if you were fired, have large employment gaps, or other issues. Write in thoughtful reponses and practice them out loud.
