Transferable skills can be general, technical, or role-related. The inventory below will help you to reflect on your volunteer, educational, and job- related experience to identify your transferable skills.
As you analyze your skills, don’t just think about the job titles you’ve held; think about the specific tasks you performed.
When you are finished, compare your skills list with the skills required for the jobs that interest you to see how well you qualify, or identify areas in which you need more training or experience.
